We aim to reduce materials, energy, waste and emissions in our designs, manufacturing, and delivery of product. We have a long-standing commitment to the environment which includes the use of LCA (lifecycle assessment) to design products that have less impact on the environment. This assessment focuses on Product Development & Design, energy inputs and outputs in production, consumption, product disposal and evaluates environmental implications of materials.
All Kada workstations are part of our product stewardship (cradle-to-grave) program. We are currently working further toward the recycling of clients’ old workstation systems, regardless of whether they are a Kada product or not. We have researched our products lifecycle from cradle to grave and have implemented a product stewardship (take-back) scheme that is tailored to suit each client.
Kada Commercial Furniture provides a full range of workplace products and services. Our portfolio includes not only the Kada product range, but also a selection of international brands. One of the Leading Furniture Manufacturers, Schiavello, in Australia have implemented workstation systems reduce environmental impact by using 30% less materials, than the previous generation workstations. The systems are designed for disassembly, re-use and re-manufacture.
